Mary’s Journey

Carolyn Lynette has always been curious about people and what makes them unique. The living person behind the persona, who they are and where they came from. Through this curiosity came sincere empathy and in turn has caused her to be able to relate truthfully and feel what others are feeling. It is that insatiable curiosity that has compelled her to want to act at a young age. That first experience on stage was like visiting an old friend. Each role that she takes gives way to knowing herself better as she finds a common ground where she pulls from her own experiences and is sincerely interested in the other characters in the story whether it be on stage or on screen. Carolyn Lynette has been blessed to have had wonderful teachers along the way: Warren Craft who taught her how to shrink it down in front of a camera and that "less is more", and Kelley Hinman who introduced her the Meisner method and taught her to "make her scene partner brilliant". She thanks God for all those experiences and prays for many more opportunities to be curious and bring many more characters to life while blessing others in the process.
